Hey all, is it alright if the temperature of my water in the ez clone is 63 degrees? Will it take my clones longer to root, or will they not root at all?

Put it on a seedling heat mat.....they keep it about 10-15F over ambient room temp. That will get them to root faster.

Cuttings in an aerocloner won't fare as well if the water temp is too high. I wouldn't use anything to warm the temp up. Bacteria flourish in warmer water temps.

you can get a thermostatic water heater for a 5-15 gallon aquarium and use it to keep the water 68-72, but honestly it seems like you're within the ball park. slower rooting? perhaps, but significantly so? i don't know about that. if you're in a production scenario where you really have to consistently pump transplants out you might be more concerned about optimum water temps, but if you're keeping your res dark and water aerated, i would think it would just be taking you more like 10 instead of 7 days at 63. All of this is pure speculation, of course. FWIW, I'll be starting my bubble cloner tonight with a thermostatic heater and aloe juice in the res.
best of luck,
