A couple weeks ago the bottem fan leaves started falling off and a friend of mine said its supposed to happen for the plants to focus energy on the buds or something but now they look like this DSCN0153.jpgDSCN0154.jpgDSCN0151.jpgand Im starting to get concerned because the hairs almost look like they are starting to "rust".DSCN0152.jpg
Any help would be great thanks.

Well once you get pretty far along in flowering dying leaves is normal. How did you get your plant to be just one little cola?
The "rust" colored pistils are normal too...read up on the aging of a flower as it gets closer to harvest.

k thanks man. Its an autoflowering plant. Its still got close to a month left. So should I just trim the dead leaves off to give the living ones more light?

I wouldn't "trim" them off only a slight tug on them to see if they will just come off naturaly, leave em on otherwise cause the plant is eating em right now to get the nutes it wants. Speaking of which what are you feeding it with a month left seems like its eating itself far to much.

It is normal for it to do it a little but it looks like you may have a little nute burn. Maybe back off the nutes a little and check your water and soil PH. =)

Jack's classic all purpose (20-20-20) And bossom booster (10-30-20), If anything I thought i was over feeding them lol. Im prob wrong

Also I am feeding them 3-4 ounces each of nute infused water every two days or so. But keep in mind that they are smaller autoflowering plants.

Nute burn- your stunting them.

I would flush with room temp water with B1 added at 4ml per Gal.
Soak the soil first if its dry and use 3 x the volume of the grow container in B1 water to flush.

How much water should I use to flush? and what can you buy vitamin B1 for plants as?

And being in 5 gal buckets thats your problem. You need to water until you get some runoff each time. I bet that bucket is loaded with salts....
