fan problems

im using a old computer fan i found laying around and i took of and old cpu from a computer. but i dont know how to hook them up together. i just want to use the fan and the cpu.

how do i hook it up?



and if possible can i hook up more than one fan to the cpu?

CPU fan is 12 volt. Look at the amp probably will be in ma (milliamp). Should be a sticker on fan with info

Find you a 12 volt converter . like from a laptop or cordless fan.

CPU fan has three wires red (positive) black (negative) and yellow (speed control)

you need only hook up red and black wire.

also on the converter just make sure you know which wire is negative and positive, and there ya go
