Fast or slow growth?

The first picture where the plant broke soil is from 11/21 1:30 pm. The second one is from today (11/24) at 8 am. I have four 23w (100w equiv) CFLs at 1600 lumens and 5000k. My lights are about 2-3 inches around the plant. Is this a fast or slow growth so far? Any other tips? I was considering getting a 100-400 watt 6400k CFL. I'm also planning on buying a car sun reflector.

Does anyone know what day I hit the 3rd or 4th week of vegetation?

I would also like to keep a journal for pics and updates and information. Does the journal on here work like that?

You can pick whatever date you like . Be prepared for visible growth to slow as she will be focusing on roots.

I've only started seeds in rock wool but the growth looks pretty normal to me.

I usually discern between the seedling/vegetative stage when the cotyledons die and fall off. So I start counting the days of veg from that point.

What is the size of the area you are growing in? If its small like a tote box or computer box I would say 100W is fine for veg. You're going to want more Watts when its come to flowering with 2700k. Reflection is always good. car reflectors are fine, just look for mylar. Better yet get those mylar emergency blankets $3 their cheaper thinner and reflect just as well
