If you have dolomite to make your soil neutral do you still have to ph your nute mix or will the dolomite raise it to neutral? I use sunshine #4 as my medium.

I always pH my nute solution... I could be incorrect but I believe that neutralizes the soil ONLY, you still wouldn't want to pour nute solution with a wicked crazy pH on your plant(s)... Example, if your soil pH is around 7.0 and you pour in some nute solution thats lets say is 4.0... even when averaged out, plus and minused, whatever math formula you use... the pH would still be off as a whole...
does that make sense?

I ph AND ppm my nute solution, the reg water, as well as my run off. Better safe than sorry as a newbie until you get it all figured out like the vets. Check shit. It gives you experience. Then you'll know what dif in ph, ppm, etc...how those difs affect your grow.
