Is there a statute of limitations regarding drug-related felonies when it comes to becoming a caregiver in Michigan? I am a non-felon but my boyfriend has a felony from over 20 years ago. He sold a joint to a friend on an undercover buy. The whole thing is just rediculous but we certainly want to follow the laws- however absurd they are- and not risk any sort of prosecution in the future.
