Female breeding?

Hello, Ive been lurking around the forums for a while and I've been told and read that crossing two female plants (from feminized seeds) through colloidal Silver (Hermie) can open a Pandora's box full of problems... Does anyone have experience with this? I was wondering if crossing 2 plants cloned from two mothers of different strains and making them pop nanners thus polinating each other will cause any recessive traits to come out...or would it be stable because you used 2 stable strains.....or would the lack of males chromosomes make the resulting offspring go hay wire. Any comments or insight would be GREATLY appreciated

It is hard to say my friend! I just cut down one of my plants due to bananas growing out of the bud. The seed was from Nirvana and their cus support told me that "fem" seeds are more likely to hermi on you rather than regular seeds. This was the second strain from them that hermied on me. I am switching to normal seeds for now and I am just going to do it the old fashoned way of male and female breeding to get regular seeds. This fem seeds BS is pissing me off. If you read about it on the net it tells ya that the majority of MJ plants will have problems creating fem seeds and most of the time they will just put out seeds that are going to grow into hermies. Well thats not good to hear i just got a bunch of beans and all but one where feminized. A few where from Nirvana (Blue Mystic) I'd really like to cross a few of them and possibly create some crazy strain but I dunno the genetic particulars.... I'd like to not hermie it just use Colloidal Silver to cause a hormone change and pop nanners that way.... AHHHH genetics!

If you take a look at both of my grow journals I had two different strains from Nirvana hermie on me. One was Northern Light Fem and Bubbelicious Fem. Don't know about the spelling on the bubb one but you get the hint! I mailed them and the lady was supper cool about it and sent me two free packs of regular seeds of the same strain. But she told me that the fem seeds are more likeley to hermie on you. That is from Nirvanas mouth. But if they do hermi on you on their own I wouldn't use those banana's I would use the ones that you had to make hermi. If you use the pollen off of the one that hermied on it's own it will pass that trate down to it's seeds.m JMHO

Well i defiantly appreciate the heads up I guess I'll be ok this time cuz i got multiple seeds from different breeders worst case I'll just have to move on to another strain also got the special kush#1 and special queen from Royal and a few pineapple express from g-13....so for now Ive got plenty of R-D strains....you have any experience with any of the strains i mentioned?

Nope sorry bro no exp growing those strains. I do want to see the pineapple express though. I saw that was sold out at attitude if I remember correctly. The only things I have grown/cloned is Nirvana fem NL, Bubbelicious and Reserva Privada Sour Kush, and Cataract Kush. I have a couple of other strains but that is about all that I have grown so far. I just told the ol lady to get me some seeds from Sannie's. I plan to get the Killing feilds reg seeds and grow some of my own if I get a good male and a couple of good females. Just grow them up to about 2 feet then flower/seed them!

At almost $50.00 for ten seeds I think it is worth it to take 3-4 plants all the way to seed in one of my grow rooms. Just wondering how many seeds I can get off each foot of plant?????
