Breeder: Female Seeds

PHYSICAL EXAMINATION
=================================================
1. Visual Appeal: Rate the visual appeal of the buds from 1-10 unappealing-excellent.
7; not the densest bud, but still very pretty.
2. Visible Trichomes: Rate the visible trichome content from 1-10 none-totally covered.
7; pretty frosty but not like the breeder picture. Maybe my aim is too high, I don't know.
3. Use an X to indicate the colors that are present in the trichome heads under magnification or list the percentages of each color for a more precise report.
Clear [ Few] Cloudy [Lot ] Amber [ Few] Dark [ ]
4. Mark with X the colors that are present in the buds or for a more detailed color analysis rate presence on a scale 1-9 light-dark.
Brown [ ] Green [ X] Gold [X ] Blue [ ] Grey [ ] White [ ] Red [ ] Rust [X ] Orange [ ] Purple [ ] Black [ ] (plus tones of frosty white from the trichomes)
5. Bud density: [ 7] Rate the bud density from 1-10 airy-dense. For samples that are not in their natural state leave this field blank.
A bit on the airy side, but nothing awful.
6. Use numbers 1-9 on descriptors that apply to the aroma of freshly broken bud where a one indicates a subtle presence and 9 indicates a pronounced presence.
Delete the existing space when marking a descriptor in order to maintain the columns in alignment.
Ammonia [ ] Earthy [X ] Licorice [ ] Peach [ ] Berry [ ] Floral [ ] Mango [ ] Pepper [ ]
Blueberry [ ] Fruit [ ] Meat [ ] Petroleum [ ] Bubblegum [ ] Grape [ ]
Melon [ ] Pine [ ] Cedar [ ] Grapefruit [ ] Menthol [ ]
Pineapple [X ] Cherry [ ] Grass/Hay [ ] Mint [ ] Rotten [ ] Chocolate [ ] Hash [ ]
Mold [ ] Skunk [ X] Citrus [ ] Iron/Rust [ ] Musk [ ] Spice [ ] Coconut [ ] Leather [ ] Nutmeg [ ] Strawberry [ ] Coffee [ ] Lemon [ ] Orange [ ] Vanilla [X ]
7. Aroma [ 8] Rate the aroma from 1-10 repulsive-delightful. Use freshly crumbled bud for best results.
8. Seed content [0 ] Rate seed content from 0-10 none-fully seeded.
9. Weeks cured [1 ] If known enter the number of weeks your sample has been cured. If desired repeat SSR after an additional two weeks of curing.
Dried for 3 days, cured for 3-4 days. Early sample, like I said.

THE SMOKE TEST
==================================================
Address these questions while smoking.
1. Please use a clean instrument for the evaluation. Enter information below that will identify the instrument as follows:
One hitter
2. Use numbers 1-9 on descriptors that apply to the taste where a one indicates a subtle presence and a nine indicates a very pronounced presence.
Delete the existing space when marking a descriptor in order to maintain the columns in alignment.
Ammonia [ ] Earthy [X ] Licorice [ ] Peach [ ] Berry [ ] Floral [ ]
Mango [ ] Pepper [ ] Blueberry [ ] Fruit [ ] Meat [ ] Petroleum [ ] Bubblegum [ ] Grape [ ] Melon [ ] Pine [ ]
Cedar [ ] Grapefruit [ ] Menthol [ ] Pineapple [X ] Cherry [ ] Grass/Hay [ ] Mint [ ] Rotten [ ] Chocolate [ ] Hash [ X] Mold [ ] Skunk [ ] Citrus [ ] Iron/Rust [ ]
Musk [ ] Spice [ ] Coconut [ ] Leather [ ] Nutmeg [ ] Strawberry [ ] Coffee [ ] Lemon [ ] Orange [ ] Vanilla [ ]
If appropriate return to this question after 5-10 minutes and mark
with X any unmarked descriptors for lingering aftertaste.
3. Taste [7 ] Rate your impression of the taste from 1-10 unpleasant-delicious.
I wasn't expecting the pineapple taste to be so strong! Took a moment to get used to, but I loved it when I did.
4. State of dryness [ 6] Rate the dryness of the bud from 1-10 wet-dry where 5 is ideal.
5. Smoke ability [ 7] Rate the smoke ability of the sample from 1-10 harsh-smooth.
Still a little harsh, but nothing deal killing. A longer cure should solve that.
6. Smoke expansion [ ] Rate how the smoke expands in the lungs from 1-10 stable-explodes.
5; it's easy to get just the right amount of hit with this.During this grow I had a bad problem with spider mites break out and they went after my C99 like mad. I managed to beat back the issue long enough to get a healthy harvest but sadly lost a couple leaves in the process. She also surprised me by being the most Sativa-leaning pheno I've ever seen; She was 4 inches at the flip to 12-12 and finished at 25 inches tall! However, despite the spider mites (and being VERY fickle with nutrients), she still finished up to give me some of the best sativa-leaning herb I have ever smoked in my life. I can only imagine how it will be after having some more time to cure, because it is wonderful stuff now! Not only am I keeping this strain in my permanent rotation, I am also attempting to revegetate the plant this sample came from. C99 is worth all the praise she gets!
