Well I had the green thumb started early here in Atlanta Canada. Two plants were growing. Both were female. Didn't have space for one, so had to do a sacrifice. That was to make clones. And focus on the growing season coming and possibly that one plant I have. I've had success. Cloning with water only. Like to add I used the light from a phone for low light. I managed to get three out of six, to start shooting new roots. One faster than others. Only on 7th day though. First time doing this, wondering what type of soil to plant into and how long to leave a Roots growing. Will I need low light when I transplant it into its medium. I was thinking basic potting soil. Just to get roots. so they say change water every 3 days I didn't until the 7th Day. On the 8th day a dramatic change. Show update in morning. Any information on transplant cloning would be appreciated

Phone light huh ? …. That’s a first.

Anyways , source some simple CFL bulbs and use that over them instead. Flouro ( fluorescent ) light will help get them going if you are looking for a cheap solution. Use Daylight labeled CFL Bulbs ( 5000k / 6400k ) they will be fine as an early Veg specific spectrum .

At least until you figure out , your grow.

Oddly enough that the low amount of light they need. For those three clones I have roots. I'm using the Sun as well. And no I don't think that's the best I just come up with the idea because it is approximately the correct lumens. Required for such

You can also get LED bulbs at any store that sells light bulbs and look at the Kelvin rating on them and use what Budz said 5-6000k and pop the outer plastic dome off the bulb and it will work fine. I use them for cloning all the time
