Growing two fig trees atm and they haven't given fruit, topped the branches and still nothing, any ideas? They are getting big 5ft and 3ft. Should I just wait till spring and put outside? They are about 2 tears old now, dropped leaves in fall now under hps and doing fine, but where's the fruit? Could they be male? Idk if they have different sexes. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Thank you, that helps out so much. They are going to be monsters by then.
When I was a kid I used to sneak to the neighbor's house at the end of the block with my friend and steal figs. He had a giant fig tree/bush in his yard and once a year they would throw the sweetest figs I ever had in my life. Could eat them right off the tree when ripe. Brings back memories :eyesmoke:

Do you have any idea what kind of fig they are? They are from fig Newton snack.

I guess that they might grow here then if I wrap them and insulate, great lakes play havoc on our winters. Its well below 0 for over a month or two each winter. I'm north of Lake Erie. Once it is established it should live then? Maybe next year I'll leave it out. Thanks
