Filter setup help

Hi all,

I have received my goods:

12" (315mm) CARBON GARDEN Carbon Filter (75cm high)

12" VORTEX (315mm) In-line Ducting Fan (1800m3/h)

5m Aluminium Flexible 12" Ducting

3 x 12" Hose Clips

1 x Fan Speed Controller

I will be dedicating one whole room for my grow, so there will be no need for me to hang this and also is really heavy to hang. Can anyone show me pics of there setup with the filter facing down?

The whole idea for hanging the filter is because hot air rises. You vent out all the hot, stale air at the top of the room, which forces fresh air to be brought in from the bottom.

Iv'e seen 12"filters/ fans on the ground for smell control scrubbing, but they still used an exhaust system.
You have to have the exhaust port sucking hot, vapor laden air out.
Otherwise, the air will be saturated and still not be able to escape.
It will just suck your cool treated air out and you will have a huge bubble of hot air you can't budge with fans, if you try to draw from the bottom.
