Fim/topping whatever you wanna call it gone wrong !!

So yeah.. I thought Id be cool one day and try increasing my intellectual knowledge on growing this mighty weed
we call ganja. I was training my plants stem(tying it to the pot etc) and I guess you could say I kinda... chopped
the top main colas stem off halfway thru, staked the wound shut with tape and a splint and it did not heal within a
week.. so to prevent diseases etc i cut the broken top off and now Im left with a dwarf plant. My question is how
long will this shock last for my lil lady :( shes about 2 months old no signs of the rest of the leaves wilting
underneath the cut area been watering her as needed and she has plenty of sunlight. Now, how long can I expect for this to last and for her to show new growth at the area that was cut? New branches etc.. im looking at the situation as superduper cropping lol she still looks healthy with the leaves she has on her still. Should I be worrying like this ROLLITUP?

the two lowest nodes below the cut will try and take over, with sets below will also be stretching within a week, I usually let them get pretty tall before I top, then top low. She'll bounce back.

The seed im growing seems to be indica dominate staying pretty low to the ground and it had a nice canopy effect to it now its basically a stalk with 2 sets of big fan leaves, then 2 more sets of fan leaves with lil baby leaves pushing out from them also, so Im guessing the healing process is already in affect, See the problem was these bottom ones werent getting sunlight because of the canopy so I went to crop then yeah this happened, I guess shes really going to be a bush within a couple weeks now hahaha

Most growers trying to maximize yield utilize fimming or topping. It can be done with plants that are less then a month old, so I wouldn't worry much. Unless this occurred during flowering, if it happened during flowering you will probably have a reduced yield.

fimmin and topping are 2 ciffrent methods fimming u cut and leave say 10 percent of the top and topping u cut the stemunder the top

not hard hell even i just done it a week bak in veg under 45 watt then into flower,,i got 2 main colas on each now very visible stems bloddy awsoem

Yes but imagine not topping or fimming, and actually taking the top main cola off all the way, this has got to be some type of supperrrrrrcropping of the sorts, im hoping the broken part starts pushing shoots out like a wildman :P

I did that a couple days ago. Was trying to bend the plant and broke off the 4 or 5 top nodes. Only had 4 nute burned leaves left, but she's doing fine. the 2 new shoots are starting to come out.

Stuck the broken part in a rapid rooter and it's doing fine too

Just thought Id check back and say theres now 2 shoots pushing out from the sides of the broken part , and all branches show growth ;) I think shell be just fine!!
