well i have done it, i have gotten my indoor grow room set up now, have 2 rooms a 6x6x7 foot main grow area and a 4x4x4 foot clone room, t5 sunblaster in the clone room and a 1000 watt mh light in the main room...

have 40 seeds, 20 white widow and 20 great white shark seeds. 5 of each were put in for germination last night and the 5 white widow and 2 of the great white shark were put in soil about 20 min ago now

hope to hear lots of feedback on this one as my outdoor journal seems to be dying as i cannot update as often as i would like to...

Dude, glad to see you finally decided to go indoors. You will like it much more, trust me. You are able to control your environment and less problems with bugs.

So you got a clone room and a main room? You should do a veg and flowering room. Or, do a clone room, veg room, and flowering room - what ever will allow. What is exactly is them main room? By looking at the light, looks like a veg room. Also, don't be afraid to use a MH on your clones and seedlings. Just keep the lights far away. I went MH on my last grow, before I had to scrap it, with my seedlings and they LOVED it. They grew so damn fast, it really helped a lot. Excellent choice on the strains. You pick them up at a seed bank, or have some laying around? How come you didn't do them all? Want to test them out first? What kind of soil are you using for your seedlings?

Good luck my friend!

BTW...

Nice digital gauge, I got the same one. Best bang for your buck IMO.

na i got a florescent t5 sunblaster, the light i used to start my plants outside, i am only starting 10 seeds as i dont want to cram too many into a 6x6 foot room and i can always start more later... i think the clone room is gonna double as a veg room, dont have the cash for a sodium light right now so i am making do with what i have... and the seeds i got thru bc seed king, $50 for 20 seeds each... i am using pro-mix which seems to be about the best medium to use on plants, not sure the mixture off hand but it works wonders

No money for an HPS? You can find one at Lowes or Home Depot for real cheap - nothing like those prices on some hydro sites.

On that soil medium, you putting your seedlings in that? Or waiting to use that for the transfer?

ya my seedlings are in there now... this is the same way i started my last grow, and those plants did really well. i have 7 that have popped thru the soil and a couple are starting their first set of real leaves already... not bad considering i started germination 2-3 days ago.

i will look into the prices at home depot, but i may actually have a buddy that will lend me one, have to look into that a little more tho.

one thing i am gonna have to look into is a way to lower the temp in the room as on the floor it is 92 degrees right now... and the light is 3-4 feet away, the ceiling is only 6.5 - 7 feet high so i wont be able to let them get too big, and i think i am going to train/list/top them try to get them to grow more out than up. don't think i will be able to let them grow much more than 4 feet, and that may be pushing it a bit...

well my final count is 9 seeds out of 10 have germinated and sprouted... they are about 2 inches tall right now and doing well... temp is getting a little high sitting around 90-95 deg with lights on, think i am going to install a air conditioner in the room to cool it to 85 deg or so, plus getting a better exhaust fan too...

hey man, this is sounding awsome and glad to hear 9 of them are up haha since ive never grown indoors and not really looked into it that hard can you buy one of those light bulbs say a 400-1000 watt, do u need to buy an adapter of some sort or does it screw right in your regular light fixture?

YES! Get those temps down. If you were outside, it be ok since there is plenty of Co2. Get some a/c in there and get some good ventilation going. Anything over 91 = DEATH, or poor yield.

No, he needs to buy and HID bulb that matches the ballasts' wattage. You can't throw a 400 wat bulb into a 1000 watt ballast - and so on

good start, are ya gonna use the chiminey for exaust, it would be perfect.
i wish... that fireplace isnt hooked up to anything, right now i am venting thru a plywood window i custom made:bigjoint: i ripped out a old piece of plywood that was used to cover a broken out window, and built a window of my own out of 2x4's and plywood, it is seperated into 2 sections and have my intake in one side and the exhaust in the other side, outside i drilled a bunch of holes thru the top part which you cant really see unless you know about it
