Finding a vaporizer

I really want a vaporizer, and I want it to be nice. The thing is I can't get one like the volcano because it has to be plugged in to use. (I smoke in the woods with friends). So I would need a battery powered vaporizer that would be good to use with a group of friends. Any suggestions?

Seriously though...what are they? They look cool, im guessing its a safer way to smoke weed in terms of low tar content in the smoke? I feel so old asking this :(

OP, just depends on what you want to pay. If you wanna vape in the woods with your friends, I'm assuming the budget is probably $150 or less, which disqualifies the pax. All you are gonna get here is fanboy recommendations. I suggest you do the internet shopping yourself, and when you find ones that fit your liking, then come back for reviews. But PAX is nice :)

Sadly, most vape pens, are wax and oil only. But some do accommodate flower.

Again, mflb is a very nice flower vape, and is not to hard on the eyes. Great on a shelf, etc. LOL.

lol man. Theyre an older model, non pen style battery powered vape. If I remember right, it uses a light to vape the weed you put in the "coffin."

In most vapes, I expect rapid power loss. And battery memory is a bitch.
Its a heating element lol. The damn joules conversion on that....
But I just say fuck it, buy another battery (or 2 to make 4) and go bitch tits crazy man.
I think they were like really low voltage though. Again idk. I like to re-review before i commit. Goddamn E-Z Vape 5.
Learned that lesson.

How many loads does a battery last for?
The simplest and easiest way is to figure that one battery supports (roughly) one load, and one load provides between 4 to 8 draws, depending on your usage/taste preferences. Some people are able to get more than this (2 or 3 loads) from one battery, or more draws per load (up to 12), but regardless, we recommend keeping more charged batteries on hand than you think you may need.
For example, let's say you are calculating how many batteries you need on a camping trip. A conservative estimate is to figure that one Box filling is sufficient for one person and that requires one charged battery. Therefore, if you have two people who want to use the same Box twice a day for two days, that is 8 Box loads and therefore 8 charged batteries.

Warning: Alkaline or any other battery chemistry does not work with the Box. You MUST use NiMH type rechargeable batteries.

I Do 3 hr vape to bong sessions, and at the end its had to remember to hit it more lol
This is only useful for quick stealth sessions, and OP would probably need ~6-8 batteries for a group sesh with 3-4 people.. Still cheaper than a pax though. Probably will last longer than any pen vape too.

So i just checked that hightimes article on best vape pens and they have like 10 "winners". Thanks for narrowing it down hightimes lol. Im torn between the trifecta from white rhino(way at the bottom of the list, like the last one) or the butterfly coffin one with the lifetime warrenty. Which one would you get?

What style usage?
MFLB would for 1-2 bowl stealth vape sessions. Like road trip BK stop style.
Its not too likely to break, but the only things it really has over the pens, are durability, warranty, (possibly) looks, and the fact that it looks like it could be some weird souvenir of some sort. But the you would be carrying around approx 1 battery per bowl you intend to vape.

As for the white rhino, no personal experience, but have used similar e-cigs. The e-cigs up here tend to need lots of maintenance. My mom is the tobacco fiend and she said that she had to change the vial filter whatever top half thing monthly. They had a weak point at the joint and if you put them in any pocket you risked a snap. Especially if you sat on it. I assume the better brand name vape pens last 2-3 times longer, so I guess a 5-6 month lifespan at best before the check engine light lol. They come with One year warranties, but mj voids that. Which possibly could void the MFLB warranty now that I think about it......


And if i end up making a bad recommendation dont hate me lol

Im nowhere near broke and the whole vape thing has been on my mind lately because im nowhere near young or getting any younger. My lungs are old and i smoke cigarettes as well. Im trying to quit the cigarettes or at least cut down the triggers but its a tough habbit to kick. Hopefully this investment will help these tired lungs feel a little better from day to day. :):):)

The coughing fits are a whole nother world man. It can be very irritating, and tastes different, but goddamn it makes even trash weed that smells like laundry soap taste good (well in that case, better to the point where it was enjoyable with no want to puke)


Before my dome perc beaker broke, This is about what I was doing, cept with an ez vape 5 and vape bit w/o hose for a heating wand. Coughing for dayzzzz.
