Hi guys it’s my first time growing any OG and I’ve chose fire og bx3 by bc bud depot. So I popped the pack of 12 and ended up with 6 female and 6 male, I’ve kept a male as I have heard that this strain produces nice males, anyway I’m now in week 4 of flower and something strange is happening...5 of the girls are turning seriously purple, 1 of them even at 2 weeks was showing purple buds. And the smell on most of them are the same and it smells like bubblegum? So basically I’m starting to think that they might not even be fire og? Has anyone else grown this strain and had this happen? I though the fire og didn’t go purple, night temps are 18 and day time 26 indoor

If temp drops more than 10 degrees at night it can cause strange things to happen. Why such a big drop? Btw its Fahrenheit degrees not Celsius. Don't thing I'd worry too much but a small heater after lights out will help, that drop can cause slow growth, hermaphrodtism, purpliing etc.Hope this helps you out.
Hey thanks for the reply I Didn’t think that a 10 degrees Difference would be that drastic but if you say so that could make a lot of sense for me as I’ve had a bit of hermie too, what would you say are the perfect night temps? Have you got any experience growing this type of og? Thanks again for the reply

I ran his animal cookies, genetics did not seem accurate.
I was going to run them as well but maybe not now
Fuck man I had no idea. It’s starting to look like I’ve been tricked, almost week 5 now and the plants are really healthy but the smell is not like an OG... I may upload some pics
