fire safety check

Hey all,
Im new here and was just wondering on my rights and the fire marshalls rights during a fire safety check. I own my condo but live in a co-op where there's many people and we have sprinkler heads and smoke alarms. The fire marshall can not go through my stuff can they? And by the way ever since OG was shut down this has been a resource of mine and I thank everyone here. Im sick and would benefit from medical mj but unfortunately I live in a state that has no tolerance, which is very frustrating.

Well, that's kind of tricky to answer. The fire marshall can't legally search your home, but that doesn't mean he can't poke around and report anything "suspicious" to law enforcement. Just make sure that when he comes, there is nothing in view that could incriminate you in any way. If possible, move your plants out of the house temporarily or put them in a room that doesn't have a sprinkler or smoke alarm and lock the door. If there isn't any fire safety equipment in there, he has no reason to "inspect" that room.
