First CFL grow- progressive grow box- no money - stealth

Hello!

Started a journal a couple of days ago, but I think this is the best place to start this thread.

I have been reading a bunch of threads and now I am starting to grow my own bud hopefully! This site has been very helpfull!

I am in the process building a stealth grow box, live in an apartment where smell/sound are a concern.

So long i have the setup you see here, white walls, 50W (2 x 25W) 6500K lights plus another two 50W 6500K 3500 lumen each that I still have to figure out how to mount them. A lil 6" plastic fan and the pots containing standard organic soil combined along with vermicompost.

Right now I buy bolivian brickweed or sumthing like that for my everyday smoke, this provides me with some seeds that will help me learn a bit (As you can see I already burned the leaves of the first plant because dropplets of water getting magnified, one of the many mistakes I have to make), before getting a proper strain from a good seedbank...



The pictures from above were taken on April 9th. I was concerned about the tips of the leaves pointing up.- Will post some more pics of today.

The gowing space is 0.61m x 0.61m x 1.22m (2ft x 2ft x 4ft) for an area of 0.37m2

Planning on making a SCROG, less plants are better in here... Would really like to flower with an HPS, maybe a 150w or 250w in the future, for now maybe I will have to go all the way with CFLs.

Near-future upgrades: IN/Exhaust fans. I have to make some DIY system with a couple of fans or something, sound will be a concern tho, I read something about speed controllers.

More lights, and some kind of reflectors for them.

Getting the hold of the nutes, I am top feeding vermicompost, and will fertilize with Vermi-tea and other organic ferts, would like to keep it organic, but I am open to chemical ferts as well...

Thank you for stopping by! I appreciate the advise, I removed the Carton because of the moldb (I used to use it like a Mulch, to avoid evaporation and also preventing the soil to fly away when its dry), I gave the plants more space and today they seemed to stretch a bit, The bottle is to keep a microclimate while it develops its true leaves, then I open the cap so the plant can settle and finally remove the bottle, seems to work as a germination chamber. Took some pictures today, the oldest plant is shooting its third set of leaves, dont know how many sets it should have by now but it doesnt look very bad.
The sound of the fan annoys me (and makes me very paranoid) so I am starting to turn it off, and leaving the door wide open just in case, but it does not go above 27ºC , if I shut the door it goes up to 32ºC no more than that.
Made a reflector or hood for the lamp, it was fun, hope it does the job.
Still searching for some PC fans that will do the job, I think I will have to search a tutorial on how to set those fans to the power grid and maybe to a speed controller.

Used to give water every 3 days with the mulching, now it seem they need water every day, but I am waiting till the leaves point up to give water, then the leaves drop down for a while and the process repeats...

should have started with smaller pots or cups for seedling, then youd be able to get them both under the light. seeing some major stretch dawwg..
