What's good everyone?!? Just registered on this forum, read a lot of them but only a member of this one.
Here's the skinny, any advice/info would be much appreciated.
*4 Hawaiian Dutch Treat clones from reputable local grower.
*Repotted from Dixie cups to 2G pots.
*600w hps, Happy Frog soil, LST/light super cropping, RootsOrganics nutes, 24hr water. Simple set up, but is working great. Temps/humidity good.
*14th day of veg, repotted to 5G
*Took ten clones, 2-3 from each plant on veg day 20
*Day 22 I flipped them to 12/12

The next day I noticed on all four that I can see nice roots in the drainage holes at bottom of pots. I have these ladies LST'd all crazy so it's hard to judge their natural height, I would guess 2.5-3 feet.
I haven't grown in a good number of years and would consider this my first serious grow. My questions, how much do the roots grow during flowering? And if I can see roots now, are they at risk of getting root bound with negative consequences? What to do? My first thought is to get each one another 5G filled halfway or so with soil, cut out bottoms of current pots and stack them.
Questions, comments, concerns, advice, info, and new green friends all welcome. Thanks!

It is normal to see roots in the holes. Once they hit the air, they turn around and go the other direction. 3 gallon pots are big enough for a plant that is only going to be alive for 3 months (1 veg, 2 flower). If you are gonna veg them longer, step up to a 5 gal.

Just got home from work and roots are pretty crazy outta pot. Lil Super cropping tonight to help even canopy. look a lil hot, temp/nutes; adj temp and 12oz water ea, dimmed lights 25%.IMG_20150626_225850_567.jpg IMG_20150626_225855_145.jpg IMG_20150626_224730_082.jpg IMG_20150626_224850_475.jpg

Seriously bro, relax. It is just growing. You should not be giving your plants water every day. It should be at least threee days between. They need time to dry out so the roots can get oxygen. The only way they get it is when the soil dries out. Let the soil dry out a bit before you water/feed. Give them a good drink (water them until a bit starts coming out of the bottom and then stop) and then leave them alone for a few days until they dry out. Over watering is the number one mistake new growers make. Yes, they need water, but that is not the only thing they need.

Oh I know proph, they just looked liked the nutes mighta been a lil strong, hence only 12oz. They been taking just over a half gallon every 2.5 days like clockwork.

Right on. I just wanted to make sure you are giving them time to dry out so they can breathe. You are on the right path. Be patient and let them do their thing.
