first ever grow, need opinions!

Got this plant at I think around maybe the 4 week mark but not sure. Will attach an image when I first got it and what it looks like as of today.

Im aware that the plant is in flowering but I have no idea how far in and how what my next steps are to make sure get a decent yield.

Used random soil, and have used a tiny bit of slow release nutrients.

The first pic shows a plant badly over fertilized. The next pics the plant looks good, about 4 to 5 weeks into flower.

Looks sativa dominant so you have a long way to go. Looks good though. It should be a monster after this.
