About to start on my first indoor hydro grow. Have a nice living arangement and decided to make the plunge but, limited space.
I have a 2x2x4 tent for veg with a tek 4 to keep a mother, clone bucket, and veg 2 plants. I'm just a little unsure how many plants to expect to have room for flowering.
the 2x4x5 space has 2 solarflare 200w (160 actual) LED's. I want to do 4 or 6 plants i just can't decide if 1x1.3 is enough space to scrog a 5 gallon or if i should give them 1x2. I have enough airstones/buckets/recirc hardware just wondering if thats overkill and scrogging 4 will fill the room.
I was considering keeping my res bucket adjecent but outside the tent and running 1/2" tubing into the system to make checking and topping it easier as well as temp. With two valves around connector i should be able to plug it in and out of the system without too much stress i'm thinking.
questions possibly for lscrog but will inc
if i veg seperately do i have to do modular scrog per bucket or can I do lst with some string/fishing weights in the veg room and them put it under a permanent tent screen? I've seen a lot of people say that you can keep your buckets sealed through flowering but I don't know how i'd change a bucket if roots got damaged if the scrog net isn't part of the lid.
