So I'm getting ready for my grow in about a month, its my first grow non-CFL bull shit grow, willie nelson and ice, 6-8 of each, feels like christmas 
.
My plan is to make a little grow room (approximately 7x7x8 give or take a foot) in an extra bedroom in my house using some good ol' hammer and nails and some wood, lining the inside with mylar and putting a hole on the top board and dropping a 400 watt HPS bulb into the grow box along with one or two fans
my questions are, with a 400 watt HPS bulb,
A)will that be enough lumens to for the plants in a approximately 7x7x8 grow room? and
B) with 1 or perhaps 2 oscillating fans, will the temperature be alright or will it still be too hot?
also
what can i do about the smell? There will be people coming into the house that I'd rather not smell the scent of sweet herbs... is there anything that can be done to ensure that the smell does not leave the bedroom?
