First Grow and I’m scared my buds aren’t going to form, am I doing something wrong?

I’m in Week 4 of flower, this is actually day 1 of week 4. I’m using TechnaFlora nutrients and giving the girls 1 day of water 1 day of nutrients. They are receiving about .5 L of water and nutes, given the schedule. The grow medium is FF ocean forest and they are on a 12/12 light cycle. I’m not sure if these will fatten up or if I’m stuck with small buds and this grow is a bust.

Your going to 100% get some buds. But they will most likely be fluffy from the looks of it. Fluffy buds still get ya ripped tho friend. Gotta start somewhere. Almost nobody is throwing down rock hard A++ on their first go.

The purple light gives us a hint that the light is not adequate.

They should end up fat nugs. Just not very dense.

You NEED more light bro also your growing in a soil mix you need to let your medium dry out between waterings, dont keep moist like hydro

Also im seeing a lot of 3 finger leafs are you sure she a photo and not an Auto? Because if she is you wont get optimum chunks on 12/12
 
Might just have the stuff spread out too much and the walls aren't very reflective. Maybe light pretty high?

You can get a light meter for your iphone, photone. Get your lights set to where they match the mfg charts as best you can. Kind of a balance between intensity and coverage. Idk what number to give you , but 370-400ish PPFD is where my sf1000 comes out at @12" irl.

You want to be hittiin 5-600 ppfd for optimum density
 
For autos 20 on 4 off gives best buds imo only. Others will say differently, listen to them. I know they will flower under 24 hr light. But not good for them so lve been told. Light might be closer but not too close start at 18 inches and work it down. You should have 5 and 7 fins on leaves for healthy plant. If turned to 12x12 while imiture can do strange things. Not that they cant be ok but some strains dont take well to it. Sativas mainly.
 
These are bag seeds, I’m not sure the strain or sativa/indica dominance, as for a tent these are in my closet, they’ve been in veg for about 4 months as of April 6th, that was when I first switched my light cycle. I’m not sure if they’re auto or flower, but Bc of the long veg I geared them toward photo. I went out and grabbed some more cheap lights to help them along. I am also taking y'alls advice and giving the ladies a chance to dry out. As of right now I'm hoping I'm going to be okay. Honestly for my first grow this has been rough and I didn't think I would get anything off of them. Tomorrow when the plants wake up I'll install the lights i just got to help them. I'll also get the iphone app to get the light measurements so I can give data on that. I appreciate all of the help and I'll have another post tomorrow to see if theres anything else I can change
