First grow, buiding my pc box, cfl grow

Hello everyone,

I have been planning to grow for some time. All these sleepless nights on youtube learning from other ppl. I finally bought a full atx pc case and got some supplies to build it.
The size of the case is 62cm tall, 40cm wide and 19cm deep (24,4x15,7x7,5 inches).

At the moment im stuck with choosing right lighting
I was planning to go 3x23w 6500k and later switch 3x23w 2700k for flowering. As i found 6500k's hard to get, I might get special herb grow 40w CFL 6500k for veg.
The problem is that when 23w are around 6€, that 40w is around 18€.
I was wondering if i can do vegetation with only that 40w one?

Another idea for flowering lights was to put 1 bulb on top of herb and 1 of both sides. Was hoping to cover the plant with direct ligth as best i can.
Any problems that i might get with this kind of set? And yes i know about holding the strain away from geting burned.

look into ScROG screens, might be in your best interest to train your plant through the screen and then you can keep as much direct light on the top of the plant and there wont be any need for side lighting.

yes the 40w CFL will work for vegging.

Well I have done alot of reading on forums and youtube is the best friend by now

About ScROG screen, i ordered some short strain seeds Royal Dwarf Auto etc. that should go around 50 cm.
Just a little bit LST should be fine since i have read that autoflowers dont like LST much, their lifepan is too short to recover.

About lights, have thought about smth I not seen on any pc micro grow:
I will place some hooks on the backwall to hang the bulbs where ever is needed at the time of growth + i can have the best luminium from the bulb side.
Just hope that the hooks dont damage the power of mylar reflect.
