First grow, closet, bagseed, CFL, help appreciated

Hello,

This is my first grow from some seeds I found in a bag I got from a friend.

Right now I have 8 lights:

6x42w @ 2800 Lumens = 252w/16,800L
2x26w @ 1600 Lumens = 52w/3,200L

Total: 304w/20,000 Lumens

I'm growing these in a small cabinet in my closet that's about 2' long, 1' depth and I cut open the top of the cabinet. I used 2 cooking pans as reflectors with 4 lights in each that are about 2-3" away from the plants. So my total lumens psf is about 10,000 and my watts psf is about 152. I'm using all 65000K spectrum bulbs now and will add some 28000K during flowering.

My first question is: is this enough light to achieve a decent yield? I have managed to stuff 8 plants into this area, but 2 aren't looking so good now.

I'm also using Miracle Grow continuous release fertilizer (it says it feeds up to 3 months). I know this isn't the best, but for my first grow I went with something cheap. This leads me to my second question: with time release fertilizers in the soil, will I need to use my own nutes?

Most of the plants were planted around 10/18 so they've been growing for about 2 weeks (I had already germinated them in some paper towel).

I also have 3 computer fans hooked up to an ac adapter and the temperature is usually around 74-79F. I'm not sure what the humidity is. Would it be wise to buy a thermometer that also reads humidity? Or does it not matter as long as you have good enough temps and airflow?

That's about all I can think of for now. I'll try to post updates every few days. Feel free to leave advice or criticism, that's why I am starting this grow journal. Thanks.
