First grow, didn't do any fimming/LST/topping. Will I still see a decent yield?

Hi all,

Growing 4 Nirvana Papaya in a 4x4 tent with 600w HID fixture.
Switched my first grow over to flower tonight after 5 weeks under a 2ft 4 tube T5, and 1 week under a 600w MH. Flowering under 600w HPS, have 4 plants in DWC buckets with House and Garden nutes running the full line (So right now they're receiving aqua flakes, multi zen, roots excel, and drip clean.) Keeping pH at 5.8 or so and making sure they get plenty of light in my 4x4 tent. I received the plants, however, after their 5 weeks under CFL's and my friend had done no topping/fimming/lst/etc. Due to time constraints I couldn't do any of it myself as they needed to be put into flower right away. Generally I see people predicting at least 2 ounces a plant after a long veg period in hydroponics, but since I used no topping/fimming/lst techniques I am worred I may have screwed my yield. Am I going to see a terrible yield from my first grow since none of these techniques were really utilized?

tl;dr: vegged plants for 6 weeks, 5 under cfl and 1 under 600w mh. Kicked over to flower today under 600w HPS. Did no fimming/topping/LST as of right now, so does that screw me yield-wise? Most people seem to always use at least one of these techniques.

Ive seen plenty of vids on u-tube were the plants not been topped fimmed lst'ed and they got a descent yield....Obviously not has much had they done a little training here and there but still all good mate...I topped 3 train wreck the day i put them over into flower and there fine no problems what so ever ....The two top stems have shot up ...might of had a slow start but they are well on the way to be fat twin cola's...good luck mate with the grow...

Topping and other training really just distributes the branches so you have more tops. It doesn't substantially increase yield as the buds will generally be smaller but greater in number. You don't see 2 liter soda bottle size colas show up in a SCROG.

I would think 2oz per plant is a safe bet.

No, u might not see 2 liter bottle sized colas in a scrog, but with proper training in a scrog i can get over 30 tops that will dry to the size of a red bull can, nice & solid ! in less than half the space...2' x 1 1/2'....2 plants

its never too late to lst you can tie down branches at any time to get better light coverage just don't go over board

papaya is a late veg strain flowering too early will really hurt your yield but you should be fine i have papaya in my cab at the moment you can check out the link in my signature

Not an auto at all, man. It's a Nirvana Papaya feminized, in DWC being fed full H&G nutes and vegged for 7 weeks. I could have vegged it longer had I wished to, but due to time constraints I kicked it over after a robust 7 weeks. Because of how using hydroponics effects yields, along with my plans to utilize the H&G additives and the fact that I'm under a 600w light, I think at least 3 oz from my two big guys, 1-2 from my medium and at least 0.5oz from my little guy is a conservative estimate to count on.
