First Grow ever, First *BREED* ever, Need guidance and advice

Aight As you see I gots myself A male and possibly 3 females. I am not chopping the male. Since this is my very first grow I want to just grow all the plants all the way through so I can get bud and mainly MORE SEEDS. LOTS more seeds. So I don't have to go pay for them.

So I am at a loss as how to grow a male, I have only read up on how to tend for a female and what is needed for danky fat buds, and read nothing on how to grow a male. Is there any certain way they need to be grown to maximize breeding potential?

Do I really need to go all out on the nutes for male flowering or can i just give it minimal and the seeds end up the same? or can you grow it a certain way to make the seeds better quality?

I really need some help as to what I am going to do here once they start fully flowering and how to go about breeding them? Should I just let the plants sit in the room and will they get pollinated by themselves with the ceiling fan on or can I increase the number of seeds produced by helping along the pollination process?

First off i would move that male out of my room with the female and the other 2 unsexed plants I dont believe its ever good to keep the male with any of your babies.. I know you will get plenty of seeds off your male plant in any case, but you dont really wanna risk wasting your females which will potentially be good bud to keeping a male plant with them.

ok first off male plants dont produce any seeds at all, ever and they never will.

second, you should get the male out of the grow room, collect pollen off of it and paint it on a few of the lower branches of the plant, this way your entire crop isnt seedy as fuck. you can have the best of both worlds, lots of seeds and some nice sensimillia (seedless buds) but it is foolish to keep a male with your females any breeder will tell you that.

second, if you want lots of seeds why dont you go to the local hydro shop and they sell this spray that will make a female plant hermie (produce male flowers that release pollen) then collect the pollen from them and use that pollen to make "feminized" seeds this way all your beans have a 95% chance to be female....

keep your male plant next to those females u gay bitch and you will have seeds guaranteed my fault i didnt get my point across as i dont post much only read... i realize you want seeds but keeping your male right next to your females isnt the best way to do it.

clearly.........I appreciate your help....but if you read the post it is my first grow ever....So I am not some full blown breeder...so I am leaving the plants together in the same room.....Why you would tell a complete newb that is on their first grow ever to go buy a chemical to hermie their own female and collect pollen and do an advanced technique blown my mind.....

All I asked is if there was a certain way to grow a male.....or improve the amount and quality of seeds....

I would remove the male and selectively pollinate buds on plants and you would still get a ton of seeds. Still get killer seedless bud and seeds too. Just a thought.

Oh okay so the best way is to keep my male in a completely different room where pollen cannot get to my females. Also you are the one that thinks a MALE can produce seeds on it's own. Hey I am assuming you are a man. Go wank it stick the results up your ass and see if you pop a baby out.

Sorry for coming off so hostile. It is very basic common sense to know that a male cannot reproduce on its own.

I don't care about buds though.....I just want seeds lots and lots of seeds. so I don't care if the entire plant gets pollinated. I don't even smoke I grow for the enjoyment and as a hobby.

In that case simply carry on my good man. Nature will runs its course, given that all the females you wish bred are ready to be bred. Save some pollen if not for the late bloomers.

What is the best procedure for collecting the most amount of pollen?

Jus keep them in the same room.. These guys aren't making shit up to ruin your seed production just telling,you how others do it. But yeah just have the males nests to the girls and a dealing fan would do it if there is a breeze on them if not throw a little tinny fan on the canopy to keep the pollin going from plant to pant.. To collect for next year I just plucked all the balls off my male put it in a piss cup with some brown paper bag material let it dry.. Then used a paintbrush to apply the pollen to select buds as not to ruin the crop.... If your growing just for fun not to smoke why mj? There are both a lot easier and harder plants to grow that won't land you in trouble just and idea bud

I used to smoke Marijuana for about 5 years Actually on and off for longer, I also love the smell, I also always wanted to grow my own crop, I grow veggies and herbs too. Just feels good growing your own foods and herbs and watching the fruits and buds form.

I also don't want to pay $100 for 10 seeds so I got some bag seed from some dank bud from a friend and got 1 male and a couple fems so I am going to milk this free ride for all I can get and get as many seeds as I can

You will have more seeds than you ever dreamt of.

The male at some point will drop it's load and there will be small piles of the finest powder piled up on leaves below. I guess you gather that up in a bag, then dip a q-tip in and brush it on when you want to pollinate, but if it's already busted you'll have seeds no matter what as that shit is already everywhere in your room.

I missed a male that busted when I went out of town and had mason jars of seeds when I wasn't trying for any even after killing it when I got back.
