I germinated some seed that i had from some halfway decent weed. This most likely going to be a test run till my good seeds get her in the mail. At first i just wanted to see if i could germinate em, but then i thought might as well see how far i can take it. I used the paper towel method misted with distilled water. Distilled water may be a little high ph level at 7.0, but i dont have any ph down yet. I put the seeds in a bio dome and put it in a dark box at about 77-79 degrees for 5 days. After 5 days they were growing like crazy right through the paper towel. I transferred them to solo cups filled with 3:1 jiffy seed starter to sphagnum peat moss. Poked a hole in the bottom of the cup to drain excess water and put them in a tray. I planted 2 seedlings in each cup. Whichever one looks the healthiest i will keep. I put them under a 5000k natural daylight cfl for 18/6. Temp is at 77F. Humidity is a little low at 38%. I am going to get a humidifier tomorrow and maybe a stronger bulb at 6500K if i can find one.
Closet. I have the light much closer to the foliage now

Timer plugged into light socket with light

My little girls (hopefully).

It looks like some medium is covering part of the stem but it is not.

Some of the stems look maroon. Correct me if i'm wrong but i think this is from too much water. Maybe from being in the germination for too long? If not please let me know.
