First Grow Island Sweet Skunk

Like the title says this is my first time growing. Friend gave me 3 Sweet Island Skunk seeds to help me out on my little adventure, the plants are now 4 days from 6 weeks old and would like to Flower once they get there to see what i got, had a few problems from the start 1) started nutes day 1 didnt know and was following Hesi schedule 2) straight tap water, i now have a hanna PH meter and have been giving them around 6.6 PH 3) Ace hardware potting soil, no added nutes but just really shitty soil, i recently found a Hydro store just afew mile away and went and purchased some Fox Farm soil. Well those were the major problems, my setup is in a hallway closet 3x4.5x6 roughly,400watt mh/hps,Hesi starter kit for nutes, and 3 fans pretty basic stuff....
anyway here are some pics i took today 5 weeks and 3 days i think after i adjusted the PH the plants started taking in all the nutes that had set in the soil thats why i have yellowing, plant #2 i have already removed some lower leaves that were yellow, brown, and im sure dead or almost. They are still in the cheap soil and since im gonna flower soon should i leach then replant in the fox farm?

*also i have a bag of perlite and a bag of vermiculite that iwas gonna add to the fox farm soil is that a good idea??Plant #1 (3).jpg

I would like to change the soil today since im starting flowering this thursday, some input would be helpful, thank you

well today i changed the soil in my plants, a few of the smaller roots broke off while i was removing them from the pots but i got most of it i hope

Awesome!! good to know, thanx man! hope i get a female out of it, but if not at least ill have an idea for the next grow :bigjoint:

5 weeks from seed 6 weeks on thursday 16th, i would like to start flowering then but i might wait 1 more week since i just transplanted

i think the small one got fucked up cause of wrong PH and nutes to early :wall: but not sure cause it didnt effect the others as much :bigjoint:

Also how far should i keep my light? right now its like 20" from the tops of the 2 larger plants

so is 20" to close or is that good?

also i noticed that 1 has shown some female pre-flowers, the other i think is also female it has little sacks like the other just no pistils yet

i wanted to start flowering today but do i think i should wait since i just transplanted a few days ago??

well the plants look awesome since i changed the soil its wednesday the 22nd of october and tonight at 12:00 midnight im gonna put them in dark until saturday at noon then switch to 12/12 with my 400watt hps, and the Hesi flowering nutes......

im new to this but i would think you would only do it right before flowering to kinda boost it bongsmilie

4th day flowering, switched to 400watt HPS after 60 hrs. of darkness. soil still a little damp so will start nutes for flowering tomorrow, also added a ceramic heater so i can keep the temps above 70f after the lights go out. besides that i have a rooted clone which was an accident broke a branch off during soil change cut it the right way no root hormone planted in jiffy pellet and fully rooted in 10 days, now in a 6" pot with FF soil. also started 4 new 4way bag seeds i got from a friend, soaked them in water for 24hrs seeds split paper towel for a day and taproot now in jiffy pellets

**Keeping temps from 70-82 degrees at all times not sure humidity have a gallon jug of water in there ( best i can do for now )
**PH right around 6.5
**3 Gallon pots
**FF ocean forest soil w/ added perlite and vermiculite
