first grow pesticide flush help

So I've been busy working on my first grow. By large things have gone pretty well. but...

I had a spider mite problem a while back and I decided to use the hot shot no pest strips. The strip worked wonders on those little bastards, but it seems to have left a nasty chemical residue on my plants. I cut about 1/6 of my crop down and as it was drying (about two days in) I rolled a doob from one of the drier flowers. My first impressions were that it tasted good and was potent, then a few a minutes later I felt the effects of the dichlorvis (headache, stomachache, https://www.rollitup.org/images/smilies/spew.gif)

I had only flushed the plants for a couple of days, but I haven't had the strips in the room for a few weeks. I changed the DWC reservoirs after I removed the strip. I read that the active ingredient's (dichlorvis) half life is dependent on ph, so i turned up the ph in my DWC reservoirs to about 8.5 with GH PH up and have been spraying the foliage with a similar solution (so now they have potassium carbonate and silicate on them as well). I also sprayed the ones I cut. I was also thinking of putting some baking soda in the mix.

While I had the no pest strip in my house I was very sensitive to it, so I guess it was stupid of me to continue to use it - I should have gone with something else.

So my question is - will this this nastiness dissipate as the plant dries fully, or maybe during the curing process, or is there something I need to do to get rid of it? I can't tell you how much a solution (liquid or otherwise) would be appreciated.
