First grow question - should I have found seeds?

I harvested my first grow. Hydroponics. One batch of AK-48 and one of Ice.

I removed the males as soon as I could figure out what their sex was.

I'm found about 10 total seeds out of 5 Ice plants. I've got significantly more from the AK, maybe 10 seeds/plant.

Did I remove the males too late?
Are these viable seeds, or are they unfertilized and won't reproduce?

Thanks.

If the seeds are slightly yellow and undersized they probably arent viable. Squeeze them if the crush easily they are no good. Other wise if the look ok the only way to tell is to germinate them and see what happens. They are probably ok. And yes if you have seeds then you probably removed your males too late!

the seed is the reproduction. if it is fully developed, there should be no more reason for it not working than any other seed.

did you check and see if one of your plants hermi'd on you? Sometimes, even plants with good genes, will develop some pollen near the end of its life so it can try and reproduce. One of those pollen sacks may have burst and given you a few seeds.
