First Grow Room

Hey Guys!

I just have a few questions I have been reading a lot for the past week or so and finally decided I am going to grow about 12 plants at a time using hydro.
I have not really picked out exactly what I am looking for.
But something like this 6 plant Hydroponic Grow System DWC 6 at Wholesale - (eBay item 280149740951 end time Sep-13-07 19:27:45 PDT) two of those and 600w HPS with cooling over that.
But first how large of a grow box should I looking at building to comfortably house 12 plants?
Also can I use the same box from sprouting to blooming?

Any info you guys could add would be amazing and Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. There is a post about building around ventilation that was just posted. Please read that. That looks like a decent setup. The size is posted. Hieght, you should go as high as you logically can. VV

4'x4'x6' should house the 2 DWC units and a 600w light with room to move things around. this will give you about 1' around the outside of the DWC units and room for up to 3' tall plants(6' - 1' for dwc, 1' for light and 1' between light/plant.) you will need about a 400cfm fan for the exhaust in this size room.
using those DWC units from ebay youll have 12 plants in 4 square feet, 3 per square foot, so you wont be able to grow tall bushy plants but a SoG would work well.

if you use the one box for both veg and flower youll only be able to grow the one set of plants at a time. if you set up another small box for a mother and clones then you wont need to start from scratch every 3-4mths.
with a mother and cloning you could put 6 plants in to flower every 4weeks so every 4 weeks you harvest 6 plants and add another 6 in.
