First Grow - THC Bomb - Outdoors.

I am going to be doing my first outdoor grow and decided to post and see how it goes, below is the 411

Seed : THC Bomb
Soil : Fox Farm Ocean Forest
Weather : Hot (FL)
Fertilizer and Food : Fox Farm Trio (Big Bloom, Grow Big and Tiger Bloom)

I am using the soil based germination.

Ill keep posting pictures as it grows and info as it grows.

Hopefully mine does, i have 3 more different type's of seeds if this one decided to act up.

well it also didnt really germinate all the way so idk, the rest did well

Ok so germination went good, going to buy a little light and keep it on 24 hrs now until she is ready to be moved outside. She looks sexy already

Im a very novice grower, I popped 5 out of 5 w a paper towel method. They are now in week 10 of flowering, all heavy yielders, 1 smells like earth, 1 strawberry/fruity, 2 dog shits lol, then 1 skunk.

Im glad to see a outdoor grow going. Get their roots tons of room to grow and this plant does well w or with out methods , its a strong high too. Good pick on genetics ill be watching this grow for I wish I could grow outside. Heres my organic baby

Ps if you switch to a 18 on /6 off light cycle , you will allow plants to store carbs and what not. It helps to turn light off.

Good looking girls you have there. I will look into the 18/6 cycle.

I personally prefer a 20/4 cycle. It seems to give my girls enough rest and enough time to store up energy and keep them growing with purpose. I definitely think a plant needs time to rest and as May11th said to store some carbs and get back at it with a vigor. A plant will grow without a dark period in veg, but I believe they will not be as healthy and ready for a 2-3 month flowering cycle. Don't get me wrong I've seen great results with a 24 hour veg, but I just prefer something more natural for them. In the end it's about finding what works for you and your girls really. Remember though when you put her outside to harden her off to the more penetrating rays of the sun. I like to use shade cloth, I'll put my girl(s) under a tent of the shade cloth for a week and slowly move them to the edge where they get more direct light. Everyday a little more and a little longer under the more direct sun and after about 5-10 days depending on strain and indica-sativa dominance in the plant. Sativas will usually adapt faster in my findings. Hope this helps and best of luck with your outdoors grow brother. I love free energy from the sun and will put out a couple of plants each year after vegging them inside first. Makes getting a tree outside by the end of the year alot easier. I put out C99's this year after getting them almost 4 feet first inside. They're already over 5 feet and on their way. Peace out R.I.U.

gotta ask.. what is thing wrapped up in the background in clear wrap? looks like a potato or a yam? cant comprehend why they would be wrapped up unless your not stateside?

You guys made me plant a girl outdoors. A non topped super skunk. Its in coco and will be my only outdoor plant. Lets see how big I can get it . I cant wait to see these thc bombs, I can see with a great veg time could result in a 3lb harvest. Maybe more, plus it does get really dark purplish black leafs. Here's another pic of one of mine.

, main lined technique thanks to mycomaster as he is the one who inspired me on the method and made it very easy to understand.

Another note, my indoor thc bombs are on week 10 since budding began , it seems as they are all not amber yet. I have seen a very few amber tips on the trichromes, I know alot of ppl prefer a stoned feeling and I need night time meds so this strain is perfect for that use. I just smoked some I been curing for a few weeks, they were the tops I cut off at cloudy ratio of 80% , I more less got impatient and wanted to try a sample. Well it is pretty damn good but really has no smell and taste like rocketfuel. Its a earthy smelling weed and tight tight tight frosty buds, really easy to grow and just go light on nutes in flower, it kikes nitrogen forsure, but In flowering it seems to be a sipper on nutes, dont be afraid to go heavy in veg though.

I will keep growing this strain trying to get better and better. My clones already look great.

Make sure they are big enough to support weight because they get big in flowering very fast.

That girl in the cup is crazy dude. The thc bomb in the pic above has some nice nugs on her. You're not kidding about getting BIG in flowering if you're referring to the flowers. I think alot of people would like main-lining if they tried it. I don't do a strict main line I like to leave extra nodes sometimes but I like the way it keeps em clean and strong. And also distributes nutes and hormones and all that nice and evenly. Lookin good brother keep it up. Peace out.

Its a sweet potato and that is how they wrap it down here well at least at wal mart lol

I do not know how much weight i will get since this is my first outside grow but i would love to get at least 1lb

Well I can easily see that happens. Aim for 2, I would if I were you. Just be vwry strict w this plant for it grows fast in veg and really doesnt get much taller in flowering. All mine are a meter or slightly longer, so outdoors maybe 6-8ft , they stay pretty conpact too and the bud to leaf ratio is great. Im going to go back and rea for this whole tread through, I keep smoking this indoor thc bomb and cant inagine the end result of a outdooor grow. I wish I had a fast forward button to see your end profuct and you big grin . Cheers everyone.

So i got my light this afternoon (60 watt desk light) for right now, I will prob keep here inside for a week and a half or so then move her outside to a 7/8 - 10 gallon pot. Doing both veg and flowering outside, will keep you posted.

Nice. What bulb is it? I run 5000k for veg at the moment but may go back to 6500k or even try 10k.


This is almost a sport. I love it. I love smoking my own product and the friends I meet on here are great.
