first growroom, have some questions

hey everyone, im new to this forum.
i just moved out from my parents place and i have a nice little 1 bedroom apartment and after much thought ive decided to start growing as a fun project

I'm going to do it in my bedroom closet. the measurements are 61inches high, 26 inches deep and 58 and a half inches wide.

I want to grow four plants and ive done a lot of research but i still feel like I dont know where to even begin with the set up part.

i know i need HPS lights and about 100 watts per plant?

any help with getting me set up would be greatly appreciated.

i'm also moving out next year so growing a momma and cloning it is probably a bad idea until i move in to my place next year.

SMELL will be an issue ifyou have neighbors... have you thought about dealing with smell.

A 400 watt HPS is a decent light.. a 600 watt BULB will get you some BIG BAD BUDS..

some issues will be
1. light leakage
2. temperature
3. smell

I think VV means the T-5 grow lights for the veg cycle. I use them with some cfls for my veg cycle and they work great, for the amount of power used and the small amount of heat out put, but for flowering it is HPS all the way, with some 42 watt CFL's for side lighting.

why?? I think they will flower just fine. VV

smell is really an issue? i thought that whne their in the vegetative state they dont really stank like bud and it only gets bad once they are in the late stages of flowering/being cured. let me know if im wrong.... whats the best way to get rid of smell? and im in an apartment complex so yes i do have a lot of neighbors
