here's a summary of those 99 pages:
1. pH in range
2. don't overfeed
3. don't get root rot

good luck! start a journal and you'll get plenty of help

When I did 5gal buckets(3.25g net vol.) I never did 100% res changes. I'd drain off a gallon a couple times a week if I remembered, ~30% or so at a time.

I only did full changes if something was out of whack.

Unless you already have a commitment to 5gal buckets, a 15-20 gal tote is much better dwc option. The larger res. volume provides stability.

I use coco now, same results, less effort.

Thank you so much for that advice I grow in coco right now, just wanted to give hydroponic a shot I’ve had a ton of success with coco! your response is excellent I thought for a second this site was just filled with trolls no offense but I’m not searching through 99 pages to get the answer you just provided . When you grow in coco what size pots do you use ? I’m currently using 7 gallon fabric is this overkill ? I have a 4x4 grow tent set up looking to maximize my grow space thanks again !

I use 3 gal. fabric pots w/ coco. They get fertigated 3x daily w/ an automated drip setup.

7gal is a little overkill but does have the advantage of allowing less frequent fertigation if you're doing so by hand.

too bad you didn't. you would have realized that this 1 way billy provided works but there are a few other methods that a noob to dwc probably would have better results with.

and by the way, suggesting to do some research beforehand is hardly trolling. but whatevs.
