First indoor grow

Hey guys, I'm thinking of doing my first indoor grow.
I'm looking at a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m tent setup with all you need and led lights. I feel this is a good starting option and it seems reasonably priced.

My first question is how many plants should I grow at once on my first attempt. ( I'm thinking 4)

Also can I grow different strains together if the have similar life cycles?
Gonna buy feminized seeds. ( I have some questions about these but will save for later)

You guys did me proud on my first ever grow which was outdoor so hopefully I get as much advice as possible and a few of the growers that helped me see this too.

Cheers

even though i had the space, for my first tent grow i did the one plant. that way you can move it around and see to it and keep an eye on the rest of it.
best to start with one photo fem'd plant and learn how to grow, walk b4 you run.
keep it simple.
1 pot
1 bag of soil
1 seed
i grow bottled food
1 bloom bottled food
cal mag
1 bottle of seaweed solution
growing in a tent is a little differant to growing outside, you will probably need fans too to keep air moveing and help keep the plant stronger

So thats about a 4'×6' tent . I would say that tent is big enough for 6 plants however being new 3 or 4 is the way to go. This will let you pay better attention and not get overwhelmed. You can grow different strains together but that takes some skill and experience because each strain will have different requirements so i highly recommend starting with the same strain. Learn to get it to harvest then try other strains.

I'd grow one plant first time in that tent, good light, good soil, some fans and a carbon filter/inline fan.

Getting the feel of that plant will learn you a lot and one plant can still be difficult get a good beginner strain, Pineapple Chunks from Barney's farm.

what light you got?

Here's a link to the set up and selections I've made. What do you think?

Thanks man I'll definitely go same stain if I decide to grow more than one.

Real good advice bro, I'll have a good think about it, won't be kicking it off for a few weeks yet.

Take a look at the set up I'm thinking of getting through the link on my reply to go go kid.

Tell me your thoughts

I'll give you my honest opinion. It'll work fine for a beginner however "kits" usually aren't the "deal" we think. I fell for a kit when I started. Down the road if and when you decide its for you, i suggest putting the priority and bulk of budget on quality lighting, not saying that one isnt, ive never used it.

Might do a bit more research on the light then cheers, I just don't know what I'm looking for.

I may have to go for HPS lights yet, depends how much I can afford. Are these less unpredictable to buy than LED's?

Not saying a good light has to be expensive just that quality lights that are inexpensive are few so research. If that makes sense
