First Outdoor Grow

Hello peoples. I just recently started growing my very first plant. The plant is almost in its seventh week of growing from when it was just a sprout. The plant looks good and healthy, but I am having a few issues which I need help correcting. Currently I am feeding the plant a 20-20-20 Miracle-Gro nute solution with some silicon additive to improve the plants cell structure. I water every three days and I am growing outdoors in Texas. My plant is very healthy, but many of the older leaves' edges are burning and I'm thinking that the plant is sitting too high to the sun. Also, I just topped the plant and was wondering if the plant will continue to grow up once it has finished recovering from the topping. I have posted some pics below.

this is what is happening miricle grow is a time released fertalizer so u keep adding miricle grow and it keeps building on its self the first time you added miricle grow is still in the soil and u keep adding more so now the plant is starting to burn with miricle grow I would water once every 3 weeks to once a month and use just water the other times

so jgrows4u what your saying is that each time i water i should just use regular water without nutes and use nutes in my water only once a month?

yeah if ur using miricle grow cause its time released it prob says something on the container that says feeds for however long but personally I wouldnt use miricle grow cause of this reason but if its all u got then use it but just use it every so often at least let some weeks go by between dosage

just leave them alone for now but if they worsen and start to die then clip them off but just flush your medium for right now and just use water for the next couple of weeks and if the leaves get better then cool if not then clip them
