First qwISO attemp w/ pic... Feedback?

So as title says - how is this? Not consistency I was expecting. 91% two 45 sec washes shaking gently.

Cool man.. I might give that a try. Next run if not this one (got couple zips of trim to practice with) Is it normal/common for it to have a crystally appearance? Hard to tell from pic, but almost looks like little shards of fiberglass when I scraped it up. I appreciate the feedback.

Thanks very much, man! I appreciate it. What a great use of the trim! I was surprised at how easy, and cheap it is to produce, too. Have had BHO, but never any that used other solvents. Excited to try it! Scraped it up this morning before work... Has made the day feel 3 times longer.. Just waiting for a taste!.. Haha. Thanks again dude.
 
Hahaha nice man! Gotta love the qwISO! I have more so now started doing it with ethanol instead. Really good flavor! Hope you enjoy and tell us how it is!

I'd like to give the ethanol a whirl myself.. Any major differences you notice other than flavor? And where do you pick up your ethanol?

I'll definitely let ya know how it goes, haha. Not really sure how to best use this consistency.. Oil rig (I only have a small Quartz nail) or bowl topper or knife hits, maybe?
 
You can definatelt do it off nail either warm it up like I said or you can warm your dabber slightly then the powder will stick

I'd like to stick it in the oven, but the fucking thing just went on the fritz.. Waiting for the new one. Would warm water bath be sufficient to melt it together? Good call on heating the dabber, I'm gonna do that to start off I think .. Thanks for your help man!

Not my hash, jist had it on hand. This is thundercats..you should be able to press it with just yiur hands and inherent heat.

Personally i prefer the powdery hash
 
Nice looking stuff! I seem to remember reading on another thread that you are kind of the authority on this topic, I appreciate you dropping in. I'll try that in a piece of parchment. I put some of what I had made into one of those little silicone wax containers, set it on a hot plate for a few seconds to a time and it melted into a nice little piece of 'shatter-like' stuff.

What is your preferred method for using the powdery stuff? Thanks for the input...

I notice a little sweeter flavor towards the end compared to qwISO. Both are good though. I either use Everclear or I have my friend brew some moonshine for me.
