if ur running it at 600 watts, i'd definitely dim it down to the 360 watt setting. it may be a little intense for your seedlings. what are you running for temps? i personally would've opted for flat white paint or mylar for the box. aluminum foil doesn't reflect the light evenly. an air cooled hood with a duct booster would do just fine for your cab

I wouldn't use aluminium foil for your walls. It actually reflects poorly and heats up, which will only raise your temps. Buy some mylar or paint your walls a flat white, you will do much better with that. Also, 600w is pretty strong for seedlings. Be careful you don't burn them.

Very nice!!! I just made the switch from using party cups to peat pots when I found them 8/$1. They work like airpots in that the roots grow right through the sides of the pot, the benefits of which are apparent. Keep your eyes out for them, they're a little smaller than party cups.

looks great except :

you would be better with T5s very close to the lights 3-4 inches even ,to start with for the first 2-3 weeks as you have to keep your plants so far away from the HPS to protect them against heat and light that the plants will start to stretch for the light and end up really long and skinny, you can put them under the hps every 4 days to get them used to it, if you use a fan quite far away from them just skimming the tops too, that will thicken the stems so they can be thick strong and drink lots of nutrients, you will end up with short stocky plants that will be very healthy, i have some at 3 weeks and that is how i got them to this stage. when they are ready for drying if you dry them upside down with lots and lots of the vegetation still on the thc runs down through the plant and in to the buds from the branches and leaves. if the plants are tall and skinny this is a no-no.
in the third picture you can see how thick the stem is i want to try to get it very thick so that it can support itself too.

here these plants are 3 weeks old.

The THC will not drain into the buds from the branches and leaves. The only place there is THC is in the trichomes

I BEG YOUR PARDON,

you can trim the vegetation off straight away before hanging the buds upside down for drying, your buds will have less thc strength but it dries a lot quicker, then if you take all the vegetation stems and all and put it in to a bucket of very cold water and ice over bubble bags and stir it or use a slow electric mixer on it you can then extract the thc that you did not extract during the bud drying process, this is called bubble hash. (be careful the stems can burst the bags).

it comes in different grades in the bubble bags top bag being the weakest, bottom being the strongest, it is hard work.
but the best fucking hash you ever smoked in your life, the plants i put in my picture are a couple from a batch of cracking fem seeds to be used for 9 mother plants.
and if you give any bubble hash to anyone they will pester you forever for more.
its pure thc.

I actually always trim my buds fully before i hang, and in my opinion its the only way to harvest. And if your making bubble hash with your stems, have fun wasting your time, potentially ripping your bags, and making shitty bubble. Bubble really should only be made from your best sugar trim or any leaf with thrichs on it. I never would make bubble with fan leaves or stems cause there are no trichomes on them, and it will just add more plant material to your bubble. maybe some of your stems within the buds have trichs on them, but i wouldn't even waste my time with that. And the bottom bag isn't always the strongest, and it depends on what size bags you're running for your lowest. When trichomes break off, the break off right below the head generally and at the base of the stalk, leaving heads and stalks. The resin heads contain virtually all of the THC, with the stalk having a lot less THC if any. Indica resin heads are larger, so they get caught in the larger micron bags, and sativa heads are smaller and get caught in the smaller micron bags. Generally the best full melt bubble will come from either the 90µ or the 73µ bags. The small bags will get some good bubble as well, but the lowest bag (25µ) will contian a lot of the stalks of the trichomes, so I don't think it is the best.

OOOOH, SO YOU HAVE CHANGED YOUR MIND, there is trichomes in the veg now, well i have news for you pal, i mulch all my veg, the whole lot, every last piece of it, before i put it in the mixer for my bubble hash, go ahead make my day, my hash would blow your head clean off.
when i am finished there is not 1 trichome left in it.

but now i am an expert at growing full bodied full strength skunk with time to dry it for 14 days upside down with full veg on.

Yeah it may not have any more trichs left in it, but i bet it has a bunch of other plant material in it. What do you even use for bags anyways? And if you dry with all your leaves on, i'd like to see a pic of what your finished bud looks like. No offense, but your no expert man
