First Time Garden, Several Different Strains

I need help with my flowers, they are all potted in happy frog potting soil, except for the Chernobyl and Boyzenberry, they are in a custom mix i can remember lol...

I would like to say that this site is pretty awesome and i come here to study plant deficiencies, grow methods and all sorts of hints and tips, and i hope to one day be able to give my own adequate and sturdy advice on how to grow some very pristine buds, and i want my grow set up to be just as professional as the legal dispensaries are in my area. I also would like to gain enough knowledge about these magical plants to work at a dispensary.

For starters, I started with 9 plants, 4) Blue Dream 1) Gods Gift, 1) Lambs Bread, 1) Boyzenberry, 1) G-Bubblewreck, 1) Chernobyl, and they were all under T8 Lighting for about 4 months, 24 hrs/day.
They were lined up on 2 racks that were 6' long, 5 plants on top and 4 on the bottom (1 light per rack with each light being composed of 2@32 wat 4' bulbs)and the plants were about 24" tall (2 feet), but the Gods Gift was about 18".
Keep in mind that I bent all of them at some point so that they grew horizontally part of their life, you will see in pictures when i take individual pics.
I then took a moderate amount of clones and waited a week to put them into flower, i started flowering with 3 T8 Light fixtures on 12on/12off cycle lined up next to each other in about a 5'x5' area with a fan in the corner oscillating on medium.
3 weeks later I was able to finally purchase a 1000w HPS system to put over my babies and the room has been ventilated by a 10" inline fan with a 10" to 2 6" vent Y.
1 tube brings fresh air into the grow area and the other in through the light (of course pulling air into the rooms by pushing air out). My 9 are getting roughly 60w/sq ft.
I would like the opinions of some more experienced growers to tell me or give me an idea of what to do to help my plants. And so i would like to present to all some pictures for diagnosis. (I will work on getting specific plant information and labeling the pictures with species names.)

wow that's one huge garden man.

my advice:

1. even with 1000w, no reason to grow so tall. most of your light bounces off the top of the canopy, and only a small part reaches below. a waste of time and space if you ask me. look for methods to flatten your plants such as scrog and LST, that will give you a much better exploiting of light and space.

2. you didn't show or tell anything about the root conditions. roots are the most important part of the plant. provide your plants with enough space for the roots to grow that's proportional to their current and desired size. plants in such size need at least 15L pots, if not more. Also very important to maintain a good humidity cycle (wet then dry), correct pHness and to follow a good nutrient regimen, your plants seem to be suffering from deficiencies, most likely due to root lock (no space to grow) and some sort of nutrient lockout, most likely pH issues.

So, at this point I'm thinking that I have been water and ph stressing them... I got lazy with ph and also was probably giving them just enough water to get by for about 3 days before starting to wilt. I have taken some pictures of the stem structure that I will post in about 2 and a half hours

you might wanna narrow it down to a couple of strains because different stains have different needs, and it takes a few grows to figure out exactly what your plant likes. Thats like having 10 different wives, almost impossible to keep 1 happy let alone all 10. Those look burnt tho... I would flush them all, possible lockout too

lol, i cant quite narrow it down now haha, ive already added 3 new strains for grow 2... 9 Vortex from seed, 1 White Russian, and 1 Super Lemon Haze mixed in with the clones of Gods Gift, Chernobyl, Boyzenberry, Bubblewreck, Lambs Bread and Blue Dream :blsmoke: one day im going to grind a gram of each together and smoke the salad god dreamed of :) and besides that crazyness, i was planning on flowering 60 at a time for grow 2 haha
one of my biggest reasons for having so many strains is to do female*female crossing, some genetic testing with splicing and herm trials. Im going to be trying some outer-species splicing along with herming to try and see if genetics from another plant will cross with the herm marijuana and appear in the pollen, and if that all is successful, i will then attempt to make seeds.

damn you a scientist lol?? I would concentrate on getting thru a whole cycle before you get into all that, you will need healthy plants to run your tests on

Yes exactly, that's why I'm here asking people like you for advise =) but no I'm not a scientist, but I'm now majoring in biotechnology, so this will be fun =)

nice, the pics that are labeled look burnt and i would give them a good flush ( burnt from nutes not the light). what are you feeding them and what kind of soil are they in?

They are leaves from the clones and all of the flowering plants except Chernobyl and Boyzenberry are in Happy Frog potting soil as well as all of the clones. I used some recomended mix for the Cher and Boyz, but then decided I want everything on a single soil. I'm planning on using 80% FFOF with an added 10 to 20% mango mulch for the microbes and amazing nutrients. That is what I will be repotting the clones into, the picture of the nutrients is what I use, don't remember the name, but I havnt done anything very consistent, just given them a touch of grow and given them good dosing of Superthrive both foliar sprayed and normally watered, and have also watered them once with half VitaliTea half water and that gave em a nice growth spurt but I don't have the money to keep that up yet.

... yes, is that bad, I've read somewhere that foliar sprays at about 1% potency are beneficial, is superthrive not good to use foliar?

DO NOT foliar feed with superthrive anymore, can't remember the exact reason why but I know that it's not good for them. I usually hit my ladies with around 1/2 teaspoon of FF grow big every once and a while and at the beginning of flower I foliar feed with seamag just to TRY and make them happy.. Had some problem with promix and mag lockout but got that figured out...

you can still use it in your soil tho, its packed with all sorts of vitamins and shit. I have a bottle of it but don't really use it cause when I did, I didn't notice much of a difference

You weren't using enough lol, they are growing plants and the soil catches stuff near the top so you need to use more to get it to dispurs through the soil with the water =) I'm building a new light rack right now in prep for clone transfer to Fox Farm Ocean Forest =) will post when done =)
