Lights: 135W UFO LED + 85W CFL (2700k) - to increase to 295W CFL (2700k) in next few days.
Strains: Nirvana - Auto Bubblelicious (did not auto)
Short Stuff - Russian Rocket Fuel (did auto)
Barneys Farm - Auto Sweet Tooth (did not auto)
Day 65 from germinating on paper towels.

I have a question about the lower bud sites, I tried some LST during my first grow, and as they were autos (or supposed to be..) I tried not to go too heavy, I think I have mixed results.. All the plants vegged for just over 5 weeks, with only RRF starting to flower automatically, so I flipped to 12/12, it has been approx 25 days since the flip.

I am presuming I have 3-4 weeks left for the RRF, and a little longer for the rest, could someone please advise if this is about right?

Also, given that amount of time left, and a large increase in lights for the last part of the flowering period, would it be beneficial to harvest in stages?

Either the top cola first when its ripe, then leave the lower sites to develop after; or do I prune and take away some sites now in the hope of boosting the top cola?

Next time I am going all photoperiod and will be much better at keeping the canopy level.

Thank you for your ongoing help everyone.

I have never harvested in stages, my gf did it, and it worked the lowers were left on for an extra week to ten days. I always looked at it as some buds are small and some are larger. But to answer your question her plant did not die and the lower buds were good once cured. Once again she only waited a week to ten days not because she was trying to ripen the lower buds but because she was just lazy and did not want to do it all in one day.

Just wanted to see if anyone currently on the forum could offer any help? I am considering taking some of the lower growth away, but would like a little more advice.

Cheers everyone
