ok heres my set up so far. as you can see im a ways off from germing but here's my specs so far. its a 3'x3'x4.5' closet. ive flat whited the whole thing, and put plastic on the "floor". got a 400w mh/hps and 4 cfls 6500/2700 for the respective cycles.my fan and ducting have not yet arrived, they will be installed on the shelf above the hood. the ducting will be run through the door, with the exhaust in a window not pictured. I included a picture of the germ box i made. i have two 18w flurs in it , with a rewired comp fan to draw air through. any and all tips and suggestions would be super helpful.

you can use the uper part of the cabinet as a veg room and the part below as the flowering room , that way you will have a contiuous grow
for germination you don´t need light , you need it only when the seeds pop out from dirt.

those CFL are not 100 w each
maybe together
you can put the two 6500k in the germination room and veg them for about 2 weeks or more in there
set up the fan to push in the air , not to suck out the air from the germ room , in that way you will get some better nitrogen absorbtion

germ box was a poor choice of words i guess, i was going to start the little girls in there then move them into a cab when they out grew the box. i thought about having two chambers in the closet one for veg one for flower like you said, but where would the fan and ducting go?. im still about a month away from sprouting fingers crossed the seeds come so i can tweek the hell out of it, and the soil and nutes are just a 10 min drive away.

you are ok with what you have until a couple more weeks, but you need 5000K+ for veg. (18/6hr) maybe a few of what you have (2700K) just chillin in the room so they can get the full spectrum, and when you get to flowering you could go all warm SW 2700Ks or use majority warm and a few cool 5000Ks (12/12hr).
