First time grower, need help setting up my grow tent

I am a first time grower, this is all the equipment i bought for my setup, i dont know how to set this all up.

This is the stuff I have so far:

4x4x7 htg grow tent

1000 watt coolstar system with a high pressure sodium light and a metal halide light

Growbright 6" high velocity inline fan

6" pure flow carbon filter

ebb and grow 12 site hydroponics system

dual outlet digital timer

two 25 foot 6" flexible ducting

I need help on how to connect all this stuff together so it would work properly. And I need to know if I need anything else. If anyone can help me please let me know.

Carbon filter----------> ducting ----------->air-cooled hood??----------->ducting (through hole in tent)--------->inline fan------------>ducting-------->outside or attic
One thing though I had the same set up 1000 watt 4x4x7 tent and I had heat issues right from the start.You will probably need to vent cold air (A/C) in to keep temps down.You also need an oscillating fan,and fresh air intake..........Soil or hydro??..............Well I eventually took my tent down and just split a room in half I couldn't afford an a/c and heat was stressing my gurls.Now I'm going to use the tent for my mothers.I kinda regret buying tents, I bought two and right now there just in storage.

the light does not have a air-cooled hood, and can you give an example of a fresh air intake that i would need, thanks

Without an air-cooled hood it will get hot in there,set up with no plants and turn on your light everything running for 3-4 hours then check your temps before you get growing,It was winter when I upgraded to 1000 in the tent and it got 95+ in there.

Most tents that do have manuals have meaningless ones. Every room and every tent setup is different. There's no real cookie cutter setup. If there was, we'd all use it because that'd be "ideal" as it should be "best". So really your best bet is to talk with your equipment supplier on what's a good setup, read threads here, etc.... Its a lot of trial and error.
