First time grower

Ok so I've been lurking and reading a lot here lately. I keep seeing mixed reviews on first time growers going with either autoflower or photo. I have been thinking of going Blue Mystic Auto do to little smell compared to normal. It might be me but auto flower seems like it would be easier for first time. I only plan on growing 1-2 plants. Want them small for stealth box have no use for big grow boxes and large yields. I want to get all the basics down and perfected before I worry about anything big. I only plan on something around 2wx2dx3h for my box.

Planning on CFLs I'm still researching on what I need exactly and how many. I plan on inlet fan on bottom exhaust on top maybe 3-5 light setup. Got to decide on nutes to not sure if auto or photo are different. A lot to research for growing something lol.

u ever consider maybe a 400 or even a 250? Plants will like that better than CFLs

I have just haven't looked into them a lot yet to see what setup I would need with them.

I have a friend with this exact set up using a 300 w led mars 2 the new 5w version. Says it works great for the small tent. 2'x2'x3'

Autos suck in quality compared to the photo strains of the same pot. Period. There's no need for autos with timers available. IMO.

Buy some World of Seeds "White Rhino X Mazar i Sharifi" feminized. Run timers. After you smoke it and your head clears you will never consider an auto again.

I was just thinking auto mainly cause the blue mystic doesn't put off a strong smell. I know you can run carbon filters to eliminate that but what about during curing? Could you cure it in the grow box?

No curing in a growbox. It will mold likely. Northern Lights was bred specifically to keep the smell down. You won't smell during the cure. It's when it's actively flowering and growing and the heat from the lights etc that the odor is most noticeable.

Didn't think about mold issue good call. I did look at Northern Lights in the beginning. For light setup would a single 400hps and 400mh work and swap when needed? I may even go up to 4ft tall and not 3ft. Found a grow tent which isn't but a few dollars for the extra height.

If I were you I wouldnt start with autos, because of how important the short veg time is. If you sceew up an auto's veg period then it will severely suffer and be underdevoloped in flower.

That being said wirh a photo you can givethem a longer veg period if you mess something up early on.
