First time growing auto flowers

I planted these two auto flower strains and it is my first time growing an auto. The first two pictures and the plant on the left is strawberry banana auto. The one on the right and in the last two pictures is Elmers goo auto. They are both 9 1/2 weeks from when they first sprouted. I feel like the strawberry banana is maybe ready to harvest or very close and the Elmer’s goo could use a another week or two? Let me know what you guys think. Any and all opinions welcome!

The Strawbery Banana looks to have about 3 weeks to go and the Elmer’s Goo a couple more than that.

I’d second the suggestion for pot saucers. The plants shouldn’t be sitting in that runoff.

Stems are really dark purple, could be alot of diff issues..... Nutrients, ph, temp etc... Agree with that messy floor... just bad practice. Open invitation for mold and bugs, not to mention all the dust getting kicked up and onto your buds :spew:

Not sure what the PH is but I give filters RO water with Cal Mag and Buddha bloom and keep the tent at around 80 degrees. I read that because I use LED lights it can cause stems to turn purple.

Ya not like that where the main stem is purple. I can't tell you exactly what the issue is but something isn't right. Leaves are yellow, dying and curling. I dont know what Buddha bloom is but I'm assuming it's some whacky boom booster, why ro? Is your tap water ppm higher than 300? Are you feeding calmag higher than 60-100ppm every watering event?
I'm not a dr, but if I had to point you on a path, I'd say you're overfeeding p-k, and loading in calcium locking out the voodoo juice you're loading in. (ps what form of calmag? Calcium Nitrate?)

I use RO cause I hard it’s better for plants especially in Arizona where I’m growing but correct me if I’m wrong. Also I do not know the PPM of my water…and yeah Buddha bloom is a Roots Organics product to help plants in flower. And the cal mag I’m using is is this stuff. Just 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per gallon of water.

Short ( ish ) answer …..

1. Excess calcium. Buddha bloom has calcium already.

2. Ro is an unnecessary evil for autos. Autos have around a 100 days ( average ) of life. Tap water is just fine. No special “ nothing “ needed.

3. Plants are struggling as leaf is also pulling nitrogen.
Nitrogen is needed in late flower for continuous pigmentation and cellular health. Rooting still continues thru flower . Buddha bloom is very light on nitrogen.

Believe it or not - you can run an auto from start to finish on a single 4-4-4 mix.

That is all - back to cold beer.
