first time growing

about two and half months ago I tossed some seeds outside in the woods near my house to see if anything would come up but not really intending on growing anything. I took a hike the other day and came across three plants growing so I weeded them out a bit. They seem rather small for 2 months which makes sense since I haven't fertilized or anything so my question is what can I do to get them perked up a bit? I figure since they've already started growing I should try and salvage them. Any tips/advice would be appreciated.

depending on where you are in the world, you may not really get anything out of them... there is a site on my journal where you can check the outdoor grow/flower cycle for almost anywhere in the world! If it is too late to get decent yields where you are, might I recommend keeping the males and letting the plants naturally propagate? I am interested to see if, next season, you get a bunch of seedlings that pop up naturally, since you say you just tossed them out there. well do what ever you want... they look like they came up allready in the flowering stage to me...

I'm in Kentucky so I've got a couple more months left, I will definitely check out your journal, If they don't produce anything it wont hurt me one way or another but It did inspire me for next growing season.
