first time hydro, overwatering symtoms?

I am using dwc buckets, I have 2 5 gallon buckets, with a 12 in airstone in each. the water level is about an inch above the bottom of the net pots. They have been in there about 4-5 days now and they came directly from my cloner into net pots with hydroton. The plants are drooping the temp in the room is a steady 75 degrees. I used 1 cap full of grow big and ph'd the water to 6.0 with ph down. I am not really sure what the problem is. It appears to be over watered but, is that possible with dwc?

i don't think you can overwater in dwc but i have heard others say different. i've had some major drooping occur when my air pump stopped supplying air to the water. make sure your air pump is working especially if you're using one of those aquarium style pumps (i've had 4 of those fail on me in the last 6 months!). also make sure the airstone isn't clogged.

Drop the water level below the pots and let the roots dangle into the water. Overwatering isn't possible but you may see similar symptoms if you don't have enough oxygen going to the roots. How big is your pump?

that is the pump I am using. Its a dual outlet pump, one for each bucket.

pump is working fine along with the airstones.
I've got the same configuration with two 5 gallon buckets. The pump doesn't push much air but the bubbles are sufficient for my plants.

I would try lowering the water level like I suggested to about 1-2 inches BELOW the net pots. Let the popping of the bubbles feed the roots dangling in the air. You do have roots coming out of the netpots, right?
