GK

They look ready to go to flower to me. Key for me is when the fan leaves start alternating instead of pairing up right across from each other. The longer you wait the more bud sites can be developed. Just concentrate on getting them as evened height as possible. CFL's have little penetrating power so what gets the top light grows to bud and the stuff underneath goes to air bud status. Not bad and nice in a pipe but the real production comes on top. I veg mine for 6-7 weeks. Never ever trim a healthy fan leaf. The buds use those as the gas tank for nutes so they can develop strong and hard. If you cut it the plant will just spend it's time and energy trying to grow it back. I tuck mine under if they get between a bud and the light.

Thats what i did. sweet. i didnt want to flower them yet cause i am waiting for my ballast for my 400 watt system and i might be moving them and didn't want them to start smelling. thanks for the input.

How much do you think i could yield using a 400 watt system

I figure a good grow is 1 1/2-2 oz per plant. Many, many variable. Your milage may vary!

You must be very patient to be able to wait on a first grow. I couldn't and it showed on my first grow! Have my closet divided into grow side and veg side. Since I'm going to harvest my current flower batch in a week, I just turned the grow to 12/12 in anticipation of moving to the flower side. Didn't change nutes yet. They're due for a res change this weekend anyway and when I do I lean on the flower nutes for that res change and maybe give them a little head start. This batch is supposed to be ready in 8 weeks tops. Took clones this morning so that's the next batch. Product every 8 weeks that way. 6 batches per year x 5 oz per batch = all I can eat! LOL!

That sound really nice. you got everything tight. i am more of a little producer. just trying different seeds out. my next one is going to be chemdog by ghsc and my girlfriend wants to put a little color to the room. i was thinking about spoetnic by paradise because it is suppose to have a grape taste and smell. but i am not sure about what to do about putting some color in the room. any suggestion

I just ordered and received 10 feminized Grapepurp and they threw in 11 Purple Skunk for free from here

http://bcgrown.ca/

Received about 8 days after I ordered in good condition and stealth enough. Just looked like a regular bubble wrap envelope. He's a small breeder in Canada and has a limited selection of strains. He mainly serves the medical community so you know the shit is strong. Prices are very fair also. Take a look at some of his strains and see what the GF thinks. I've been mariied for 35 years, 2 boys 32 and 25. Long as the GF is happy, you will be happy!

im doing LST also...i love it specially if you have limited grow space:lol:
im 3 weeks into flower

check it out....its an unknown strain

Thanks man, i looked into it and i am liking black velvet. do they deliver to he states. do you have any pictures of your plants

ELL,

I do that to and enjoy it. Does that mean we are into bondage? Nice looking plants!

Growkid,

I haven't grown them myself but I popped a couple of the free Purple Skunk and took them to a friend who is into purple bud. They are only 3 weeks in but doing fine. Look very heathy. Sorry no pictures. Promised wife when I first started posting that I wouldn't do pictures. She read that is how some people get caught in some newspaper. It's bogus as hell but a deal is a deal. I'm working on her. My friend is using a hempy Bucket. 10" planter with a water lip and a resevoir at the bottom (they call that self watering) filled with 2 to 1 perlite to vermiculite mix then he waters with a light hydroponic grow solution every couple of days. Keeps it in his heated garage and uses some of my 105 watt CFL's for lighting. The plant roots have hit the 2" resevoir in the planter. Took about 2 weeks. One is about 8" and the other two are about 6". I'm guessing that tall one is a male. They were free and he'll get both kinds this time. If he does I might save some pollen for a cross a little later.
