First time mescaline trip any advice?

I came across some mescaline from the guy I usually get my shrooms from. I bought a half oz of some penis envy shrooms and he turned me on to some capsules he had asked if I liked mescaline. Needless to say I've never done it but i bought it for $35 its a crystalline white powder, I know the guy well so i trust he didnt screw me but im curious what to expect? I have tripped alot of shrooms but never this. Another friend bought the same capsule as me and ended up splitting his with 3 people and snorted it. told me they tripped balls hard. I wanna take the capsule myself but curious what to expect, still have some shrooms also. Should I throw some shroom tea in there as well?

Well normal shrooms are Cylosibum (However you spell it) should be more intense like peyote

first, I can't imagine snorting mescaline - AT ALL. Second, if you split a cap between a few people and those people got a serious high, then it was not mescaline. Mescaline has a threshold dose of about 100 mg, a decent running high at 250, and a peak experience at around 400 mg. If that wasn't a horse cap anyway it wasn't mescaline.

Furthermore 35 dollars for pure is pretty cheap actually. What to expect? some mild to severe stomach cramps early on, some nausea sometimes for some people, a placid - almost drunk like comeon and then a quasi-relaxed wave after wave of euphoria and indian blanket patterns awash with such colors you have never seen, probably not even on acid.

thanks for the input, my buddy that split amd snorted the cap said he was overcome with a feeling like he didnt know what to do, he said he wanted to experience everything like he was extremely eager to do things, his uncle had to lay down because his high was consisting of constant movement, walls breathing floors moving an such, im curious though if not mescaline what could cause the hallucinations in a substance like i described. my buddy said he didnt know whether to shit, run in circles, eat, talk to people, anything at all other than that said he really couldnt describe it. unlike anything he had ever done. I havent done mine because i was unfamiliar with it and my research made me believe it could be cut just curious as to what it could be cut with

No one would "cut" mescaline because it is so weak, and no one who reveres the chemical would risk angering mescalito, usually a rather freindly fellow but you do not, you DO NOT want to get on his bad side, only the mushroom is, in my opinion a more brutal teacher if you decide to turn your back or betray.

RC is a research chemical. From what you described, it kinda sounds more like it could be a 2C drug. Still great stuff, but it's not mescaline technically. Also I think there are some precautions to be taken with RC's that don't need to be taken with mescaline. Ie: stay hydrated, alcohol is usually a bad idea, correct dosage etc... Mescaline in it's true form is really pretty safe. I'm not downing 2C's, I'm just saying stay hydrated if you're going to take them.

edit: I guess I should elaborate a little more. 2C's would be things like 2c-i, 2c-e, 2c-b,.... and so on and so forth. They're in a class of drugs called phenylethylamines.

It's neither a good nor bad idea to mix them. If you have experience with the chemicals involved then mix. But try new things neat before mixing them. And you're saying RC like it's one thing when there are hundreds of RCs with wildly differing structures and actions.
A word to the wise, mescaline is extremely uncommon these days. It takes a long time to grow enough cactus to make a reasonable amount of it, and it's potency is quite low. If its less than a quarter gram of powder per dose it is not mescaline. Be suspicious of anything advertised as mescaline. If you really want to try it get some San Pedro or Peruvian Torch and extract it yourself. Some claim that it loses something in the extraction process but having consumed it as cactus flesh, extracts and fully synthetic I do not agree. All that is lost is some uncomfortable time purging your body from both ends.

Might've been allylescaline or methallylescaline.
