I've found may great plants from bag seeds that's where I got my first seeds and started growing them when I was 15. Think about this if you are growing pot for profit/commercial your going to start with a good strain, it may be more of a quantity over all else strain but who cares the price was right. Plus if you had/smoked it you know how it(the mother) smoked, smells, looked, the density I'd take that any day over a hyped up description by the guy selling his seeds. Only problem is and it's not a big problem is that you don't know what pollinated it, was the grower messing around with a male plant somewhere or did the plants stress/herm/self. Who knows !? Just get and read some books (closet cultivator/the growers bible/big lights big sensi) on growing, and keep the stress low and eyes peeled for balls or worst bananas. Oh and if pollen is released early not that big of a deal so you get a few seeds but pollen released late into bud you got a whole a lot seeds (mostly unfinished). Good luck.... oh shit the second part of your question. Well, I'd say the earliest stuff you can find for your area. Late shit promises big returns but I find mold or bud rot will strike them more often then not. Wappa OR Early Pearl are easy to grow outdoors, but most stains I've tried do well outdoors I did chocolope, vanilla kush, and k-train outdoors not a problem. Good Luck and be safe
