First time SOG 8x8

Hello guys. This is my first grow and my first post. I am doing a SOG in a 8'x8' tent. I am using 3 Bestva LEDS (2x2000w and 1x3000w) and a strong air extractor, no intake fan.I was collecting seeds for over a year, so i have 6 strains:

20 Amnesia Haze from RQS
20 Pineapple Chunk from Barneys
20 Blue Cheese from Buddha Seeds
5 Somango from RQS
5 Gelat OG
10 Critical

I have 80 5l pots on 5.7 square meters, i chose SOG method in the last moment and found only after that is good to have only 1 strain from one mother plant for SOG.
I put the seeds to germinate on 12th August using 2 methods, Root Riot and Canna SeedMix ( for this one i germinated the seeds into paper towell before). I transplanted the root riot into 5l pots after 5 days, and the others after 10 days.
I can say that root riot worked much better, they seem a few days older. I ll post some pics tomorrow.
For feeding i am using the Canna Pack ( Canna Rhizotonic, Terra Vegga, Terra Flores, PK and Bloom).
I only gave them some rhizotonic and molasses two days ago.

I think you will need another light.
Them 3 arnt going to cover the whole 8x8 properly.
I read lots of reviews about them, some say that even 2 are enough for this are.

"Bestva states a 4×4 coverage area, although one reviewer claimed her Bestva 2000w grow light covers a 5×5 grow space with ease."

"The Bestva 2000 watt can cover an average of 4’x4′ feet of grow space from the height of 24” with ease."

"As far as coverage area, Bestva 3000W grow light can cover an average of 3.5’x3.5′ of grow space from the height of 18” with ease."

Yeah so the 3000w unit is 615w and the 2000w unit is 390w
So one quote says the 615w unit will cover 3.5x3.5ft and the other says the 390w unit will cover 4x4. That doesn't add up does it?
"cover" is a subjective term, my 20w cfl can cover my entire living room 16ft x14ft but it wont be enough to flower plants properly.

How many of those reviewers hung their light and turned it on and left a review vs how many of them flowered a crop until harvest and left a review?

You cant light up a 4x4 with 390w of even the highest efficient LED and those don't come close to that standard.
The 3000w (615w) unit will cover a 4x4 and flower well. You may be able to cover 4x8 by hanging your 3000w next to your 2000w and giving 3x4 to the 2000w and 5x4 to the 3000w. Which leaves you a light short forcovering the entire 8x8.

I gave 3x8 to the 3000w and 5x8 for the two 2000w lets. I ll post some pics and show you, I will give it a try like this.
It s my first grow, I got a bargain on the tools and had only one week for a real documentation.
I want to give them another 2 weeks for vegetation, or wait until the first plant reaches 12'' and then turn the lights to flowering mode.

the extractor is working at 1200-1300 CFM/h for a 8'x8'x6.5' (240x240x200cm) tent
there are 6 holes of 30'' each at the bottom for fresh air.
I keep the lights on during the night.
The temperature is 27 °C during the day and 23 °C during the night, humidity is 50% +-.

Did you say 80 plants?!

Okay, for an 8x8 I would suggest 2000-2400 TRUE watts of lower-tier LEDs like these Bestvas.

Think about it: you have 4- 4x4 areas in an 8x8. The rule of thumb is a 600 watt HPS per 4x4, so 2400 watts of HID. The sad truth is the Bestva LEDs are *maybe* as efficient as HPS lights. Maybe those lights are better than HPS, but probably not. In my 5x5 tent I was running about 800 true watts of decently efficient LEDs (not top tier, but definitely much better than HID).

ps, it is a pet peeve of mine to call those lights "2000w" and "3000w", which misleads the uneducated to think they are 2000 WATTS and 3000 WATTS while they are not. And they are also not the "equivalent" of a 2000 watt or 3000 watt light.

Yeah same for all of us I think.

Nice to see you by the way!
